Cesar and Mariana are A Espiral de Bukowski;
AEdB#2 is the result of
a long process that saw the duo collecting recordings of their concerts and
tracks recorded in unusual places like a hostel room in Sao Tomé das Letras.
The audio material covers part of the duo production, moving the sounds-shapes
in space and time from 2011 to 2015.
After the compilation released
in 2015, the duo was saving still various pieces. As main poetics: the Impromptu,
as from of limits, and philosophy of science contaminated by linguistics/literature.
One statement: first come the presentation, that is creation, then the album,
which is its recording. In 2016, A Espiral de Bukowski writes a new chapter: 12
tracks by the Brazilian experimental duo made by Cesar Zanin (synthesizers,
effects, processor, sampler, loop station, field recording, harmonica,
sequencer) and Mariana Cetra (vocalizations and Casiotone keyboard with guitar
effect pedals, accordion, melodica, recorder, acoustic guitar). AEdB#2 is a
delicate and violent journey through dreamy melodies and noise-electronic
immerse under the sign of deep improvisation.
AEdB#2 is the second
Brazilian adventure of electronicgirls, a beautiful experience among
instrumental alchemy and electronics, foreign cultures and new landscapes: a
view to push our ear out of Europe, seeking for new sonic lands.
A ESPIRAL DE BUKOWSKI is anexperimental
music duo from Sao Paulo, Brazil, active from 2012 to 2016, with a few tens of
presentations and concerts in South America that were rendered into
tracks/albums released by American and European labels.
